Packaging is often a blind spot

In most manufacturing companies, the packaging process is a blind spot. Executives have no idea how much it costs and what the impact is on customer satisfaction and the carbon footprint. All attention is focused on the design and production of high-end machinery and equipment, while packaging is often not even someone's responsibility within the company.

Wrong packaging

Due to poor management of packaging tasks, employees choose the wrong packaging for a product or spare part. The fact that this leads to expensive defects on arrival and dissatisfied customers, no one is aware of that. But not only that: wrong packaging also leads to high repacking costs, wasted packaging material and a lot of air being displaced.

Circularity as a duty

Smarter organization of packaging processes not only saves a lot of money, it is also a social obligation. Companies have absolutely no idea how much of their packaging material ends up in the environment and ends up in the oceans as plastic soup! People no longer accept that. Making packaging circular is a legitimate requirement that every company will have to meet sooner or later.
