Cleanroom Employee
As a medium-sized family business, we work on our products every day with more than 120 colleagues. In our cleanrooms, we work according to Grade 4 (ISO class 7). Because our customers are placing increasingly high demands on our materials, new cleanrooms are under construction where we will also be working in a higher class. What will you do?
Ensure that our packaging and the processes surrounding it receive the attention they deserve.
- As a cleanroom employee, you will enter a world where precision and craftsmanship come together in a dust-free environment.

- You will carry out strict quality checks on surface cleanliness using UV detection lamps and ensure that all products are carefully checked and packaged according to strict protocols.

- You have a level 3 or 4 MBO qualification (WTB, Mechatronics or similar), or equivalent experience.
- You have technical insight and work accurately so that our customers receive flawless products.
- You have experience with cleaning procedures and mechanical assembly in a cleanroom environment or you are open to internal training for this.
- You are skilled with hand tools.
- You are available 40 hours per week, 32 hours is negotiable.
- You speak Dutch and/or English.

Mechanical Engineer

As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll be the technical link between customer requirements and production. No two challenges are the same: from cleanroom-compatible packaging and vibration-damping techniques for sensitive equipment to robust transport frames for heavy machinery and weapon cases for the defence industry. You translate complex customer needs into innovative packaging solutions, tailored to specific requirements such as vibration damping, ergonomics or temperature sensitivity. Your technical ideas and coordination have a direct impact on our projects and the success of our production.
Your working day is dynamic: deadlines, planning and unexpected changes are challenges you tackle with technical precision and creativity
A selection of your projects:
- Designing metal frames or plastic pallets that protect sensitive equipment during transport in a cleanroom-compliant manner.
- Creating bespoke flight cases for, for example, audiovisual equipment.
- Developing solutions for hazardous goods packaging or internal transport in the metal industry.
Your role
- Drawing up a Statement of Requirements (SOR) based on the client’s needs.
- Designing and presenting packaging concepts.
- Assessing technical feasibility and performing strength calculations.
- Drawing up production drawings and documentation.
- Coordinating projects, including liaising with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
Our requirements
- You have a degree (HBO or WO level) in a technical field, such as Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Product Design or Industrial Design.
- You have knowledge of materials such as plastics, metal and wood.
- You have experience with production techniques such as milling, waterjet cutting, plastic welding or vacuum forming.
- Proficiency in 3D design software (e.g. SolidWorks or NX).
- You are fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written. A good command of the English language is essential due to our international client base.

Technical Purchaser

At Faes, we’re growing fast. To realize our ambition, we’re looking for a technical buyer who brings structure and clarity to our supplier base. You won’t focus on chasing daily orders, but will ensure that the agreements underlying them are solid and future-proof.
Your role
As a Technical Purchaser, you’ll be in charge of the tactical procurement process. You’ll optimize product groups and translate technical customer requests into the best sourcing solutions. You’ll report to the Strategic Purchaser and work closely with your operational colleagues, supporting them where needed.
- Sourcing & Selection: You conduct market research and select the right (technical) suppliers that meet our quality standards.
- Contract Management: You negotiate prices, delivery times, and terms. You document these in framework agreements and ensure compliance.
- Vendor Rating: You analyze supplier performance (on-time, in-full, quality, audit) and proactively conduct evaluation meetings to improve collaboration.
- Project Procurement: You serve as the point of contact for Engineering and Sales on new projects; you advise on manufacturability, costs, and alternative materials.
- Process Optimization: You identify bottlenecks in the collaboration between procurement and production and implement improvements in our ERP system (Isah).
Our Requirements
- A completed higher professional education (HBO) degree (e.g., Industrial Engineering or Business Economics) or HTS/MTS with relevant work experience
- Preferably in possession of Nevi 1; willingness to obtain Nevi 2 is a plus.
- 1–3 years of experience in a procurement role within a manufacturing company or technical environment.
- You can read technical drawings and understand the complexity of custom packaging, or are willing to learn this.
- Excellent command of Dutch and English (German is a plus).
- Experience with ERP software (experience with Isah/AFAS is a major advantage).

HR Officer

As an HR Officer at Faes, you’ll ensure that all HR matters run smoothly and are handled with care. You’ll be the first point of contact for staff and managers on day-to-day HR issues, supporting them with practical and solution-focused advice.

In your role

BBL Assembly Worker in the Kempen – Work & Learn at the Same Time

BBL logistics employee in the Kempen – Work & learn at the same time
Learn the trade directly on the job
Would you rather learn by doing than just sitting in the classroom? At the Vakschool Logistiek, you combine work and study from day one. Together with the school and an accredited training company, you’ll build your future in logistics.
You’ll work several days a week at a company in the Kempen region and attend school for one day (at a company site in Eersel). This way, you’ll learn the trade directly in practice and receive a salary during your training.
Your working day
No two days are the same. Depending on the company and the specialism you’re developing, you’ll be involved in:
- Processing incoming and outgoing goods
- Order picking and stock management
- Working with logistics systems
- Loading and unloading lorries

Production Employee
Our production departments consist of several sections: machine woodworking, assembly, interior finishing, clean rooms, plastic welding and the milling department. We also have plenty of opportunities for production workers in our cardboard factory.
