At Faes, we do more than develop high-quality packaging solutions. From our Logistics Centre at the Brainport Industries Campus (BIC) in Eindhoven, we manage the inbound and outbound flow of goods for the high-tech companies based there.
You will work at our Eindhoven location, where you and a small, close-knit team are responsible for the day-to-day logistics services. At the same time, you will be part of Faes, our family-owned company headquartered in Reusel.
As Team Lead Services, you are the key figure at our location. You work hands-on alongside your team, ensure that logistics processes run smoothly and provide daily leadership to a small team of two to three colleagues. You are the first point of contact on site, maintain a clear overview and actively contribute ideas for the further development of our services and the expansion of our activities at BIC.
Your role
As Team Lead Services, you work hands-on alongside your team and ensure that daily logistics processes run smoothly. Together with your team, you are responsible for:
- Loading and unloading goods;
- Registering incoming and outgoing goods using a PDA;
- Checking goods for quality and quantity;
- Picking orders using a reach truck;
- Preparing orders for shipment;
- Ensuring that the correct transport documentation is completed;
- Carrying out inventory checks;
- Delivering goods to customers in the local area when required.
In addition, you lead the team and ensure that daily activities are carried out efficiently. Your responsibilities include:
- Planning, allocating and coordinating daily activities;
- Coaching, motivating and supporting your colleagues;
- Monitoring progress, quality and safety in the workplace;
- Identifying and resolving bottlenecks in the logistics process;
- Continuously improving our services and work processes;
- Contributing ideas to the further development and expansion of our services at BIC, including potential future expansion to BIC 2.
What we are looking for
For this position, we are looking for an enthusiastic and committed team lead who takes responsibility, enjoys working with others and is energised by both leading a team and working hands-on in a dynamic logistics environment.
- You have experience in logistics;
- You preferably have experience leading, coaching or supporting a team;
- You have strong organisational skills and maintain an overview when priorities change;
- You can work independently and feel responsible for the daily operations at the location;
- You hold a forklift and reach truck certificate or are willing to obtain these;
- You hold a valid category B driving licence;
- You are comfortable working with a scanner or PDA and logistics systems;
- You are available for 40 hours per week.

- Problem-solving skills: You identify bottlenecks, respond quickly when plans change and come up with practical solutions.
- Customer focus: You understand the customer’s needs and work with the team to provide reliable, high-quality services.
