How does Faes approach an industrial packaging challenge?
At Faes, an industrial packaging solution does not start with a crate, case or material, but with the product that needs to be protected. Our packaging engineers first assess what the product may be exposed to during transport, storage and handling. This includes shocks, vibrations, moisture, temperature fluctuations, and the way the packaging is loaded, moved and opened. The value and vulnerability of the product, as well as the consequences of potential transport damage, also play an important role.
Based on this assessment, we develop a custom packaging solution that provides exactly the level of protection required. Not too little, but also not unnecessarily heavy or complex. That distinction matters: industrial packaging should not only be strong, but also technically suited to the product and the logistics process in which it is used. We also consider factors such as ergonomics, efficient use of space, reusability, and the total lifespan of the packaging.
At Faes, our involvement does not necessarily end after delivery. We look at the packaging throughout its entire period of use. Reusable packaging can be returned to us for inspection and, where possible, repair or refurbishment. This means damaged packaging does not automatically have to be replaced completely. That can reduce costs, keep materials in use for longer, and significantly extend the lifespan of the original solution.
With Faes, you do not simply get industrial packaging, but a technically engineered packaging solution tailored to your product, logistics and application. Want to know what level of protection your product really needs? Let our packaging engineers assess your packaging challenge and discover the solution that best fits your needs.
